About YouthBiz
YouthBiz was founded on September 30th, 1992 by a neighborhood
activist and eight inner-city teens who began a T-shirt business
with one bedrock belief:
“Youth in one of Denver’s highest-poverty,
most gang-involved areas can create a better future for themselves,
their peers, and their neighborhood.”
But these teens wanted more than just a paycheck. They wanted
to learn transferable job skills along with developing leadership
and academic skills to take them further....
